Mirada en retro a 1989

Enero:
Regresa ubicando en el top por segunda semana en Stereo Rock, Bad Medicine (Bon Jovi) y el grupo nacional Arena Hash agrega el siguiente éxito del álbum debut, el sencillo: No cambiaré, el dia 21.

Cerrando el primer mes llega al top máximo: I Love Your Way(Will To Power),mezclando temas de Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way" y el tema de Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird"

En Studio 92 la Mejor Mejor por 2 semanas desde el 14 al viernes 27 :Margarita(Wilkins),estos eran los aires latinos que sonaban al inicio del año en la frecuencia de las radios más comerciales.

Entre los ingresos en el mes en español :Formula del Ska (Jas),Tinta Invisible,Por poder gritar,golpes; tres temas del álbum: Primera Sangre (GIT). Ya no sonaban igual, pero aplaudia sus nuevos aires.

Otros estrenos en Stereo Rock:What I Am (Edie Brickell& The Bohemians),Nothin` But A Good Time (Poison),Romance Radial (Tiffany), Beds Are Burning (Midnight Oil),y el tema de Let´s Stay Together(Pat Benatar).
Los dos temas de estreno en el mes y en el año:Born To Be My Baby (Bon Jovi), y la balada: Tan Enamorados(Ricardo Montaner).

Febrero:

Empezaba el mes con Won´t Forget You (Poison), y el sábado 11 llegaba al top :Two Hearts (Phil Collins),en las top de Studio 92 y Stereo Rock.

Otro Nº01 en el mes en mi ranking Wild Wild West (The Escape Club).

Los temas que sonaban en las radios, además del anterior párrafo eran: Born To Be My Baby (Bon Jovi), Every Rose Has Its Thorm (Poison) y subiendo raudamente a los mejores del mes, la balada pop: Tan enamorados (Ricardo Montaner).

Studio 92 y/o Carlos Guerreros reactualiza el tema: llévalo hacia el futuro, Fronteras en américa, la Pachanga,Jamaica Reaggue (los Pericos), Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child Mine (Guns N´ Roses),Vasos rotos(Fabulosos Cadillac) cantado con Celia Cruz, First Time (Robin Beck) recordado por el comercial de Coca Cola, Lost In Your Eyes(Debbie Gibson) tema de Studio 92,Escuela de calor(Radio Futura),Paint It Black(The Rolling Stones) lo escuché primero por la fenecida Radio 1, Angel of Harlem(U2),Dulce y Amargo(Rio), Súbete a Mi Sidecar (Sonora de Bruno Alberto),De hoy en más(Enanitos Verdes)de su álbum Carrousel.

En el Billboard hot 100 la gran Nº01 de febrero es Straight Up(Paula Abdul) tercer single de su album debut Forever Your girl, aprovechó sus dotes de coreógrafa para entregarnos buenos pasos de baile en sus videos musicales..
